EUROPEAN DIARY
European Diary published a competition called “Europe and Me” at the end of last year to celebrate a decade of existence, and our students participated with a work they titled “Who are we and what are we?”
A team of students from first to third grade, with the support of philosophy and civic education teacher Svetlana Marjanov, created a video format work on the topic “Environment and Climate Change” as well as “The European Union in Your Daily Life”.
European Diary is a publication that aims to provide better information about the European Union (EU), its values and opportunities it offers you. This is the tenth time that European Diary has been published in Serbia, and the “Europe and Me” competition celebrated this anniversary. This unique informative guide can serve not only students but also teachers as an auxiliary teaching tool. European Diary covers a wide range of topics from the creation of the EU and its institutions, through ecology, human and minority rights, the EU common market and currency, to opportunities for continuing education in one of the EU member countries. A special section is dedicated to the relationship between Serbia and the EU, which aims to bring the EU accession negotiation process closer to students. In the Diary, you can learn more about travel, studies and student exchanges, funds and scholarships, volunteering and language learning, about what awaits you when Serbia becomes an EU member, as well as about the lives of peers in other European countries.
