My name is Sanja Dedović and I am a graduate engineer of information systems by profession. I work at the private high school “Milena Pavlović Barili”.
In working with children, we approach each child as a separate individual. We believe this is the key to discovering their talents and achieving good results.
During the state of emergency, we are all spending more time at computers than ever before. Students have video classes, we send them materials, tests, they do homework every day. But we must be careful and protect ourselves from the potential consequences of many hours of computer use. We will look at the advice given to us by ergonomics, a scientific discipline that studies the impact of phones, computers and other devices on human health.
The most important rules are:
- proper sitting at the desk
- the monitor must be 45-60cm away from the eyes
- after every hour of computer work, you should take 10-15 minute breaks
- protecting the monitor from reflection and light glare
The greatest attention should be paid when buying a monitor, which must be of good quality. This way we will avoid damage to our eyes. Eyes are designed to look at a distance, and computer work requires intense concentration on nearby objects.
