The tradition of New Year planners was once a widely spread promotional practice. These days, enriched with informative and visual messages, we encounter it as one of the innovative propaganda strategies. As one of such redesigned editions published before the New Year, the European Diary is being published in Serbia for the eleventh time. <\/p>

This planner, besides being practically organized for notes and planning obligations, also provides comprehensive information about the history of the European Union, its members, institutions and values, as well as about the relationship between Serbia and the EU. Since the planner is intended for high school students, it also contains information about educational programs, scholarships and other opportunities for continuing education in one of the member countries. <\/p>

Details related to the “Europe and I” competition that the European Diary announces every year are also listed. Students of the Private Gymnasium “ANTONI MP BARILI” participated in this competition last school year. This will also be the case this year, 2020\/2021. <\/p>

Students have until January 31st to submit team or individual works. The topics are current and organized within several offered focuses. Authors of the most successful works will have the opportunity to travel to one or more European countries within special programs or, specifically this year, due to the epidemiological situation, alternatively choose an adequate monetary amount. <\/p>
